Hidden away on a rear site in the leafy suburb of Merivale, and due for completion in early 2017, this home contrasts textures and colours within a formal plan. Timbers are used liberally within the interior to provide warmth and link spaces across double height voids.

Environmental design was a key driver as part of the design process, ensuring a very thermally efficient house will be realised. 3D thermal modelling and sun tracking allowed design decisions to be checked and verified prior to construction commenced.
